With the 100-Mile Challenge events, the goal for every registered athlete is to run 100 miles in 60-hours or less. As athletes work to achieve that goal, there are Milestones at iconic race distances along the way (Half Marathon, Marathon, 50K, 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile). The award you receive at the end of the event is directly correlated to the cumulative distance you run.
For example, if at the end of the event, you ran 55 total miles, you will have passed the 50-Mile Milestone but you will have not yet reached the 100K Milestone (which is about 62 miles) and you’ll receive the 50-Mile Milestone award. The only way to earn the next Milestone award is to run the distance required to reach it.
The Milestones are intended to be "short-term goals" on the way to the ultimate goal of running 100 miles!
No. The only option for registration is the 100-Mile Challenge. But don't worry - if you don't complete 100 Miles within the allotted 60-hours, you still have the chance to earn awards for the other Milestone distances.
This event caters to a range of fitness levels, from beginners to experienced runners which means there is no set fitness level required in order to participate. However, these events are designed to challenge you, both physically and mentally. It is important to train to ensure you are adequately prepared. A free Training Plan is included with every registration but you may also choose to upgrade to the Group Coaching Program for added support and accountability from the coaches and community.

Yes. Participants must be at least 18-years-old on the first day of the event.
We can accommodate about 200 athletes at this event.
Spectators will be allowed on the property in designated spectator areas only. This space will change depending on the location of the event, the course, and the venue. But there will always be a spectator designated space near the finish line. Spectators will not be allowed in the athlete only area or have access to athlete and event amenities. Some venues may have lodging on-site that spectators can make reservations separate from the event.
Only registered athletes and event crew are allowed on course and in Athlete Headquarters. The ME team and volunteers will be your crew. We got you. Pacers will be allowed to run with their athlete only during headlight-mandatory hours of the event (around sunset to sunrise). Pacers will have access to aid station amenities while with their athlete.
Yes! These events would not be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers. More details can be found in the volunteer section.
