The course will be open for 60 consecutive hours.

CELEBRATING MILESTONES

Covering 100 miles on foot is no easy task but with professional training, an encouraging community, round-the-clock support from industry-leading event staff and Milestone achievements along the way, it's possible!

100-mile races are not unique on their own. But at Milestone Events, it is not just the finish line we focus on. We celebrate every Milestone along the way and the growth that happens with every stride between each of them.

The course is a 10 mile loop, with athletes attempting to complete 10 loops to earn their belt buckle. Athletes will mark their progress with each lap that they complete.

We know running isn't
everything

Look, we're an endurance company putting on running events around the world so it might be weird to say it but, running isn't everything and we know that. When building our Training Guides and Coaching Programs, we wanted to ensure athletes had everything they needed to be successful and that meant including more than just running. Every registered athlete will receive guidance on running, strength and nutrition, whether you use the PDF Guide or join the Group Coaching Program.

what DOES the event look LIKE?

The structure of this event differs from other ultra races in that it is a 4-night, all-inclusive experience designed to help athletes break down their 100-mile target into smaller, more manageable goals we call Milestones. Each Milestone is an iconic race distance - 13.1, 26.2, 50K, 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile.

Athletes will run laps on the 10-mile loop course, marking each lap on the progress board, with specific markers for Milestone achievements as they work toward a 100-mile finish.

Between laps, athletes have the option to retreat back to their rooms to rest, eat the provided meals and snacks, and make use of the recovery options available.

The course will have an official open and close, how you utilize the time and plan your running schedule is up to each athlete - you run when you want to run and rest when you want to rest. But keep in mind, the goal is 100 miles and you have 60 hours to get there!

There are a lot of moving pieces that go into a 100-mile challenge. We've thought of everything so that you don't have to. We have travel/lodging/meal logistics all figured out. We have a beautiful and challenging course that s incredibly well supported. We have training plans that include information on running, strength training, and nutrition. We have group coaching sessions. AND you will immediately be plugged into a supportive community inspiring each other to go further than they could on their own.

Frequently Asked questions

How do the Milestones work?

With the 100-Mile Challenge events, the goal for every registered athlete is to run 100 miles in 60-hours or less. As athletes work to achieve that goal, there are Milestones at iconic race distances along the way (Half Marathon, Marathon, 50K, 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile). The award you receive at the end of the event is directly correlated to the cumulative distance you run.

For example, if at the end of the event, you ran 55 total miles, you will have passed the 50-Mile Milestone but you will have not yet reached the 100K Milestone (which is about 62 miles) and you’ll receive the 50-Mile Milestone award. The only way to earn the next Milestone award is to run the distance required to reach it.

The Milestones are intended to be "short-term goals" on the way to the ultimate goal of running 100 miles!
