Allen Russell lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. He has achieved notable milestones in his athletic journey, including completing numerous marathons, an Ironman and swimming the distance of Lake Powell.
He firmly believes that each of us is an athlete and life itself constitutes our Olympic Event. Given the right support, encouragement, knowledge, and mindset, he believes we have the capacity to excel in our life’s pursuits indefinitely. Success hinges on understanding our starting point, defining our goals, and crafting a clear, relatable, and personalized path to achieve them.Â
As a premise of his coaching philosophy, he prioritizes acknowledging and embracing his athletes’ current abilities and circumstances. Together, we navigate potential obstacles, identifying and applying necessary knowledge, support, empathy and embracing a resilient mindset. Proactively addressing challenges and making appropriate adjustments along the journey are key tenets of his approach, ensuring that success becomes an inevitable outcome.
Allen is one of the Coaches for the 2024 Zion 100-Mile Challenge and will be hosting his virtual group coaching sessions on Wednesdays from 11am – 12pm PT.Â
